How to join TradersYard social platform

Head over to tradersyard.com

Enter your full name, e-mail, and password, and then confirm your password.

Then click on Signup.

Please check your email for a verification link, which you would need to click on to verify your account.

How to login TradersYard via AgenaTrader

Open AgenaTrader

Click on My Account

On the right-hand side, click on Login

A pop-up will appear in which you will need to enter your TradersYard credentials.

You will then be able to fully use the TradersYard tab within your AgenaTrader.

What are the system requirements needed to run TradersYard & AgenaTrader

Note: Please check your energy settings and turn off the sleep mode!

How to add a post

Click on the input field that says: "What's on your mind?"

You can proceed as follows:

  1. Define the availability of your post. You can select from:

    • Public: all users can view your post

    • My community: only friends can view your post

    • Only me: only the user can view your post

  2. Hit publish to post your message to your timeline

How to add friends

First, use the search bar at the top of tradersyard.com and search for your friend that you would like to add. Once you found the profile, select Add Friend

Your friend request will be sent. Once the other party accepts your requests, you are then officially friends on TradersYard. The option Message will be enabled, which will then allow you to direct message your friend.

How to remove a friend

Click on your friend's profile, then click on the three little dots as shown here:

Then choose Remove Friend

Then Confirm the Deletion

How to use TradersYard Live for Calls and Meetings

Head over to the messaging icon or click on https://tradersyard.com/meetings

From here you can either direct message your friends or call them using the phone icon as shown below:

You can also join a meeting with several participants by clicking the headphone icon:

Here are the different functions within a meeting or call you can utilize:

  1. Turn your camera on/off. Click on the little arrow to select a virtual background. You can either choose from the preset backgrounds or upload your own background.

  2. Share your screen. Here you can choose between only sharing your Chrome tab, your window, or your entire screen.

  3. Chat. Use the chat function within a meeting to message participants or share links.

  4. Raise Hand. This feature comes in handy during a meeting where you need to draw attention to yourself to the host. You may also click on the little arrow to respond with an emoji or GIF during a live session.

  5. Participants. This feature allows you to view all current participants in the meeting.

  6. Toggle view. Switch between fullscreen and toggle view.

  7. More options. This will open a set of function explained in points 9-20

  8. Invite people. With this option, you can share the direct meeting link with others or e-mail it to your friend. The users can also dial in and enter their PIN code if they are unable to join via TradersYard.

  9. Performance settings. Here you can adjust what you prefer between performance or quality. If you have a stable connection with a powerful computer, then we recommend using the highest quality.

  10. View full screen. Enter the full screen mode. To exit, click the ESC button.

  11. Security options. If you want your meeting to be more close-knit and secure, you may decide to set up an extra lobby to moderate the entry of new participants. You can also add a passcode to your meeting room and enable End-to-End Encryption.

  12. Start recording. You can record the session by choosing either Cloud recording or to upload the file directly to Dropbox. At the end of the recording a link will be provided to access the video file.

  13. Start live stream. Connect to your YouTube channel and start a direct live stream.

  14. Share video. Enter a YouTube link or any direct video link to share with all participants.

  15. Share audio. Share any audio file playing from your Chrome browser.

  16. Select background. As previously highlighted, you can choose a preset background or upload your own.

  17. Participants stats. Here you can view how long each participant spoke on the mic.

  18. Settings. An overview of all settings above. Additional settings: Notifications, Moderator, General.

  19. View Shortcuts. Shortcuts to use within a meeting to make life easier.

  20. End call.

How to create an Office/Group

Head over to tradersyard.com homepage.

Click on Community > Groups

Click on Create Group

Finally, personalize your office and click on Create:

  • #1 - Enter a picture of your choice. Recommended resolution is 580 x326px.

  • #2 - Enter your desired office name.

  • #3 - Choose whether you would like to have your group be accessible to everyone (Public) or whether it should be private (Protected), which means that users can only join upon request.

  • #4 - Select a relevant category and if none applies, choose No category.

  • #5 - Add any relevant details about your office that you may feel is useful for new members.

How to use Role Management

Firstly, make sure that the joining request by the participant is approved. Click on Requests and Accept.

As group owner, click on your group/office and then Edit Group

Here you can manage the roles within the group. You can choose between:

  • Admin: Every function available as the group owner, except the option to delete the group.

  • Moderator: Edit and delete publications, remove and invite new participants.

At the bottom of the screen, click Add, then choose from the current group participants and assign the role.

How to create an Event/Webinar
  1. By clicking on the empty field, you can upload a background image for your event. An example can be found in the "Events listed" screenshot above

  2. Define how your event should be called

  3. Define the availability of your event: Is it supposed to be accessible to all users or protected (paid)

  4. Choose the language in which your event is intended to take place.

  5. Select what meeting technology should be used for your event: the integrated TradersYard-Live, or a 3rd party service

  6. Describe your event

  7. Define the schedule of your event: Is it supposed to be a one-time event, or maybe a series of events?

  8. If you have selected a protected event, define the payment model

  9. Define the price of your event. Please note that the payment option will only be made available if you change the group to "Protected". Also, the option of "Recurring Payment", will only be enabled if you choose a recurring schedule.

Once the event has been created, a unique invitation link will be generated which you can share with participants:

You are also able to select any of your current friends/groups to invite them to the event.

How to find and join an Event/Webinar

  1. Here you can select what type of events to display: Upcoming events, closed events, or event invitations

  2. In this search field, you can enter the name of the event that you are looking for

  3. You can sort the results of your search by Participants, Date and Hot (most popular ones are at the top)

  4. To join an event, use the "Attend" or "Send Request" if it is a protected event.

How to start an Event/Webinar

Once the date and time have arrived to start the webinar, click on your event and on Join Event:

A separate window will open with your live session.

How to check your Event/Webinar settings

Click on your event

You will be presented with the settings page of the event:

  1. By clicking on the empty field, you can upload a background image for your event. An example can be found in the "Events listed" screenshot above

  2. Define how your event should be called

How to add another session to a one-off event

Time ran out and you want to add another session? It happens!

Here is how you do it:

  1. Click on your event

  2. Add as many sessions as you like and configure the dates and times accordingly
